Harbour School in Cambridgeshire is a community special school for day and residential pupils. It is a Grade II listed building that proved unsuitable for a number of fire protection methods. Sprinklers with ‘fast response’ heads were installed, and the project was designed for both the current building and a potential extension in the future. The work was carried out in school holidays and over weekends to minimise disruption. The installation cost £100,000.
